Airport:
San Jose Airport (SJO) is about 20 minute drive from NASA Ames Research
Center (about $25 per taxi), while San Francisco Airport (SFO) is about 40 minute drive,
both following highway 101.
Transport airport to hotel:
South Bay Airport Shuttle (408) 559-9477 provides door-to-door
service between the San Jose or San Francisco Airports and the Mt. View/Palo
Alto area. Make reservations the day before or call 800-548-4664 from
San Francisco airport or 408-225-4444 from San Jose airport. Or call
Airport Connection (415) 885-2666 for door-to-door service (multiple
share) between the San Francisco Airport and the Mt. View/Palo Alto
area.
Choise of hotel:
The hotels listed here are all convenient to Ames Research
Center. To reach both hotels, take 101 exit "Moffett Boulevard"
and double left at the first traffic light at Leong Drive. When you make your reservation you must
indicate to the reservation clerk that you are attending the NASA Ames
SOFIA SURF Workshop.

Transportation to and from NASA Ames:
The meeting is to be held at the NASA Ames Conference and
Training Center. Proceed to the
entrance gate to pick up NASA Visitor Badge.
Ramada Inn and County Inn are within walking distance from the conference center
(about 1.5 km). Transport from the hotel to the conference center will be available
in the morning and evening of Tuesday June 22 and Wednesday June 23.
